Tulip Tree (Liriodendron tulipefera)

Named for its tulip-like flowers and featuring wonderful fall colour, the quick-growing tulip tree is not your usual mid to large shade tree. In the same family as the magnolia, it makes for a wonderfully different mid-size to large shade tree.
