While they may share the name and even resemble a pine tree, they are not true pines at all. In terms of proper Norfolk pine tree care, they are more like a gardenia or orchid than a pine tree.

Light: Likes a bright indirect light to partial low light, but very minimal sunlight is necessary and can do well in low light scenarios

Water: Once a week, give it a really good soak then let it dry until the soil is at 25% moisture

**TIP: Its best to bottom water plants that grow on a stalk or have weak shallow root systems  as water collecting around the base of the plant could cause rotting and when the water being absorbed through the holes at the bottom of the pot it will draw its roots down, making for a happier and healthier plant
